Tim Robbins Joining Ruffalo in Sex Addict Story 'Thanks for Sharing'

Back in January we learned that The Kids Are All Right writer Stuart Blumberg would make his directorial debut with a comedy called Thanks for Sharing. In addition, Mark Ruffalo was coming along for the ride in the story about three sex addicts in a 12-step recovery clinic together in New York City. In addition to Gilbert Films, the company behind the aforementioned Best Picture nominee, producing the feature, Edward Norton is involved as an executive producer (Blumberg previously wrote Norton's directorial debut Keeping the Faith). Now THR has word that Tim Robbins is joining the project as one of the sex addicts.

Robbins has stayed mostly in dramatic features, but his work in films like The Hudsucker Proxy, Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny and even cameos in Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me and Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy show that he has some great comedic ...
